For just over a year I have been producing the paper version WERFA Newsletter, but unfortunately, due to various commitments this is something I am no longer able to continue to do. I can continue to manage the website updates and the email production

We would like to say a really big thank you to Oaklands School and their pupils who have been printing our Newsletter for us for the last year in one of their classes. Their help is invaluable to our Association and we really appreciate it.
These are due from 1st March and your Beat Representative will be collecting them shortly. Subs are £5 per person, which includes Social Club Membership.
We are very pleased to announce that a resident of Woodland Gardens, Kerrie Lapworth, has agreed to take over the editing and production of the Newsletter from the October issue onwards. Kerrie can be contacted via email at werfa@hotmail.co.uk We would like to extend a grateful welcome.
The WERFA Bowling Club has decided to keep going throughout the summer this year. If you would like to join in, they meet every Wednesday evening 8.00-10.00pm in the pavilion.
For many years Mr Southgate has audited the WERFA General and Social Club accounts. He is now standing down but would be willing to help any new person who feels that they can take this on. The role does not have to be carried out by an accountant.
The job will not need doing until March next year, but please email our Secretary Shelagh Longland or if you feel you could help us with this task.
