Use of WERFA Facilities

We are now hosting the local police Safer Neighbourhood Team in the Pavilion. It allows them more time to do their crime prevention job without needing to return too often to Hounslow Police Station. We have spoken to them about use of our outdoor facilities and they are happy to see small numbers of people using them, with parents looking after their children. We have put up notices to remind people about social distancing rules and expect that everyone will continue to act responsibly.

Help for WERFA Wildlife – join in Sun 22nd!

We now have residents of all ages enthusiastic about making a new wildlife-friendly area. By reducing mowing and sowing wildflower seeds we are creating a flower meadow and children are invited to adopt nest boxes made by Les and volunteers.

Les hopes to put the new nest boxes up on Sunday 22nd September at 10.30 am. He would appreciate any help from some younger Dads (or indeed anyone up for it) with drill, screwdriver and a ladder.
